Just opened this year. This is going to be a nice campground. They have a nice pool, nice shower and restroom building, level sites that are easy to back into or pull through, water, electric, and sewer hook ups, and a beautiful view of the Grand River. They still have some manicuring and landscaping to do but this takes time. I LOVED the late check out time, it was really nice not to have to hustle to get out by 11 or 1. Staff was friendly and helpful.
We went on a very rainy weekend so the park was almost our own private spot. The river did not disappoint and we, like most of their spots, had a great view while in our trailer. The public bathroom was the BEST we have seen in Michigan. The water at our site was easily the nicest we have ever had, no smell, not slimy, just perfect just like at home. It’s a new park and hopefully they have plans to build a park for kids because that would be the only thing missing for some people. We can’t wait to come back next year and hopefully have no rain.
We had a great time this labor day weekend. Good people all around. Fishing was slow but still a great time. Large lots, easy hook up. We will be back for sure.
Beautiful views of the Grand River--even if your site is not directly on it! Owners are actively involved in making sure you have what you need. Bath house is very private and clean. Pool is warm and right alongside the River! It's one of my new "happy places."
Beautiful campground on the river! Quiet, clean, close to many attractions. We've seen deer, ducks, turtles, geese etc. Long gravel pads with nice size yards in between. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Don't forget to ride the riverboat whole you're here. Owners and staff are friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be back.
