Called 4 different times, no one answers or calls back. No pricing available online for classes so we will be going somewhere else.
Poor supervision and inattentive teachers. My son came home with Bruises and a black eye but I didn't complain because he was enjoying himself. I started getting contacted by the teacher that he was fighting so I asked him why he was doing this and he told me because two of the kids there were holding him down and he couldn't breath. The next time I dropped him off I lingered in drop off area and watched this happening to him. I informed the Teacher and she suggested adding help ( kicking up the cost for us twice) to which I agreed. He still came home with bruises and stories about getting held down. I told him to scream as loud as he could when the kids were hurting him. The teacher called stating he couldn't come to school anymore and tried claiming he had anger issues. Well I would be angry too if I was getting abused with no help from the person who is suppose to be in charge. I will be returning him to the school (which cost a bit more) that he had been going to for years previous. I have never had issues with Tutor Time and the Teachers there love having him. Just goes to show you get what you pay for.
I would LOVE to get my children involved with different activities at the Horizon Complex, but I've called 4 times with questions about specific classes and have not received calls back. When I called again this morning I was treated like an idiot for trying to get information being told to only look at the website, that prices and other very basic information couldn't be provided over the phone because the woman "had not been provided with any of that information". I will take my children to another business and I will tell my friends to stay away. This morning was more than a little off putting. The Horizons Complex is not somewhere I'd trust my kids to be due to the way I was brushed off while trying to spend a lot of money (possibly for years).
Horizon is amazing in so many ways!!! My daughter has now been attending for her 3rd summer and is already telling me she wants to go back next summer! It is engaging, interesting and most of all fun with lots of new friends to make. "Best summer ever" in her words. I appreciate all of the staff, always helpful, courteous and professional. More importantly-kid friendly. Thank you for all you do!!
Between my 3 children we spent 15 years in classes at Horizon Complex. Horizon's dedication for the kids is fantastic. They are constantly aware of safety standards for those growing bodies. They work with progression, to keep the kids safe and confident as they learn. Not only was Horizon good for my kids physically, but also psychologically. Being involved in a year round competitive sport where my kids learn good life lessons was great for them. They have grown to be leaders in their young adult lives.
