Terrible customer service - good luck canceling a membership and make sure you stalk your bank account every month because they will take more money than they are supposed to! - and then good luck getting that money back! Would not recommend to anyone!

I had a horrible experience with Progym. Their classes and gym were fine, but customer service was awful! As soon as I signed up, we were double charged. Then charged $10 for nothing. And trying to cancel was mess. Their cancellation policy is a joke. I don’t give them your bank account. Customer service is their absolute lowest priority!

A member of my family went to this gym and when his year was up, he tried canceling it and they said he had to be there in person so sign some paper. He went in 3 times during the "designated hours" which is only 9 to 1 to cancel the membership, and the employee there was not "qualified" to help him cancel it, and said the manager would be there in half an hour and would call him back. No call back...he left 2 or 3 messages and still no call back. Extremely unprofessional. When she did call him she said she was out of town, which would contradict the employee telling him she would be there in half an hour? Then the manager had the audacity to tell him to remove his review even though it was 100% truthful, had him SIGN A PAPER saying he would delete it, that's why it isn't up here anymore. In all my years of working in customer service I cannot imagine ever treating my customers in such a manner.

If you have young kids then don't waste your time with this place. The child care is ridiculously unreliable. The staff show up when they feel like it. I live 2 minutes from this place and I'll never go back after how we were treated.

I would never go back to to this gym based on the customer service alone. To piggy back off of Chase, something very similar happened to myself ( and my wife). I was contacted claiming that I owed money because I had not been paying my gym membership. This was unknown to me because the money would just be withdrawn every month from my bank account. I told the person I had received the emails and tried to pay online. They said the online feature doesn't work. I said I replied to the email. They said that is an automatic response email. I finally agree just to pay the gym fee and late fees and then I asked to cancel over the phone seeing that I was out of state. They said it had to be in person and tried to convince me to stay at the gym. I would have stayed at the gym had we worked out an agreement with the gym membership and late fees but we couldn't. My wife went to the gym for me to try and cancel and the person working did not know how to cancel a gym membership because it was their first day. So to make a long story short the customer service is awful. Instead of trying to resolve the issue and maintain a member they lost one forever.
